Covid 19 Safety Protocols
Our commitment to your health and wellbeing is the highest priority in our practice. In addition to our high standards of infection control, we have implemented additional protocols as recommended by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ministry of Health.
We will continue to disinfect each room between patients including the common areas such as door handles, chairs and counters. Our building has installed hand sanitizers throughout and as well in each elevator.
We are installing Surgically Clean Air purifiers in each room, which use modern technology to trap and kill airborne pathogens such as bacteria and viruses and deliver cleaner air in the office.
Because Covid 19 is primarily transmitted through respiratory droplets, we will take additional precautions with increased PPE (personal protective equipment) such as masks, face shields, gloves and surgical caps. We have also purchased Aerosol Capturing Devices for additional safety and protection.

New Scheduling Procedures
Pre-screening will be performed prior to your appointment. Anyone with signs and symptoms of an infection such as cough or fever should stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment to a later date.
When you arrive at the building, we ask that you remain in your car and call or text to let us know you are here. If necessary an alternate waiting area can be arranged. We will let you know when you can come into the office to ensure social distancing. We will allow only one patient in a time and only you the patient will be allowed into the office.
Upon entering the office:
- Please wear a face mask or one will be provided
- Hand sanitization will be required.
- Sign a Pre-screening form
- Your temperature will be taken with a touch-less thermometer
- You will then be escorted directly into the treatment room
