Meet Dr. Budd

Dr. Marvin Budd BSc, DDS, attended Montreal’s McGill University to obtain both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. In 1982, he completed his Certificate in Periodontology at Temple University in Philadelphia and opened his periodontal practice.

His focus in-practice remains in providing advanced and compassionate care in a thoroughly modern facility. He is particularly interested in periodontal regenerative therapies and implant dentistry.

An active member and participant in periodontal teaching and continuing education circles, Dr. Budd has served as a member of the part-time clinical and pre-clinical teaching staff of the University of Toronto School of Dentistry within the Department of Periodontics.  He has also lectured extensively as a speaker and clinician for the Ontario Dental Association, Toronto Academy of Dentistry, and for local dental and hygiene societies both in Canada and the United States.

Dr. Budd is also actively engaged in the dental community. He has held the position of a Board of Governor member to the Ontario Dental Association for six years, as well as being past president of the Toronto East Dental Society, the Ontario Society of Periodontists, and  the Ontario Association of Dental Specialists.  

Dr Budd is married and has  two children, and he enjoys skiing, golfing, and biking in his spare time.
